Associate Account Manager, Customer Retention (Remote - United States)
Retain commercial and industrial waste-service customers for Republic Services in a remote account management role. Sell recycling and waste solutions while strengthening customer relationships.
Сипаттама
- Manage and retain relationships with existing commercial and industrial waste-service customers
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to support customer retention
- Expand customer adoption by selling Republic Services’ complete product portfolio
- Build working knowledge of company services, business lines, pricing structures, and current offers
- Complete contract renewals to extend customer relationships and improve profitability
- Handle cancellation requests in line with the established escalation policy
- Explain company pricing initiatives to customers
- Use Salesforce each day to schedule and record calls, meetings, and proposals
- Record customer email addresses while reducing rate restrictions and customer credits
- Meet routinely with the Sales Manager to review retention efforts, objectives, and priority customer relationships
- Complete other assigned duties related to the role

- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- 0–2 years of customer service experience required
- Experience in the waste or transportation industry preferred
- Working knowledge of available services, business lines, pricing structures, and offers
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Ability to handle both outbound and inbound customer calls
- Ability to complete contract renewals and address cancellation requests
- Ability to work remotely during Eastern or Central time zone hours
