Technical Support Specialist - Italy Remote

Troubleshoot JLG, Hinowa, and AUSA access equipment while helping customers and field teams resolve technical issues. Support repairs, training, service communications, and technical knowledge development across Italy and Belgium.

Description

  • Diagnose root causes of technical problems affecting JLG, Hinowa, and AUSA telehandlers and aerial work platforms
  • Determine the corrective actions required to resolve equipment issues
  • Assist internal and external customers through phone, email, in-person, and other communication channels
  • Support field repairs and advise on equipment overhauls through the contact center
  • Coach associate Technical Support Specialists with mentor-level expertise
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with customers and internal departments
  • Share service bulletins, information notices, and product updates
  • Create and maintain knowledge resources for customer self-service and self-diagnosis
  • Lead, schedule, and organize team training sessions
  • Produce and assess system data to support repair decisions
  • Represent service functions on New Product Development teams and review engineering change notices
  • Contribute to ongoing internal and external training programs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least five years of experience in the field or a related area
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Associate degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Contact center or hands-on equipment repair experience preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail preferred
