Senior ServiceNow TSM/OMT Software Engineer (India Remote)
Build ServiceNow TSM/OMT applications for work orders, scheduling, and dispatch. Support enterprise service mapping, discovery, event management, and CMDB integrations for NewRocket clients.
Description
- Build customer applications for work-order management, scheduling, and dispatch with ServiceNow TSM/OMT.
- Work with stakeholders to define essential functionality across customized ServiceNow instances.
- Improve ServiceNow event rules to maintain accurate CMDB relationships.
- Partner with technical subject-matter experts to gather environment details for service mapping and event-related work.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow TSM/OMT.
- Ability to understand, communicate, and implement TSM/OMT solutions.
- Ability to create interfaces for different user groups using custom application models or Service Portals.
- Experience building integrated logic and functional components that connect ServiceNow internal services and APIs through REST.
- Understanding of enterprise service-oriented and distributed application architectures, including web services, data access and persistence, and client/server systems.
- Understanding of credentialless and credential-based Discovery.
- Ability to install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow TSM/OMT products for Discovery, Service Mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and multisource CMDBs.
- Ability to prevent duplicate configuration items through CI identifiers.
- Ability to extend Horizontal Discovery with custom infrastructure and application patterns.
- Knowledge of configuring, administering, and maintaining MID Servers.
- Proficiency using the command-line console for Service Mapping.
- Ability to work with and migrate Service Mapping patterns between environments.
- Proficiency configuring Service Mapping Identification Rules.
- Knowledge of discovering multi-tier services, including advanced Service Mapping pattern configuration.
