Description
- Sample linguist submissions to verify whether validation decisions were accurate
- Check that IPA transcriptions match the pronunciation in each audio recording
- Flag errors and inconsistencies in the initial review
- Apply corrections when needed
- Complete reviews in the client-provided platform
- Assess submissions containing short audio clips, standard orthographic transcriptions, and AI-generated IPA transcriptions
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in the target locale
- In-depth understanding of IPA transcription and phonetics
- Previous experience using CAT tools or comparable client platforms
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to quality benchmarks
- Capacity to meet agreed deadlines and project quality requirements
- Availability for approximately 20 hours from project kickoff through mid-October 2026
