Description

  • Advise individual business lines on AI strategy and implementation.
  • Evaluate AI maturity and identify the opportunities with the greatest potential value.
  • Develop AI strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Rank AI opportunities across investing, distribution, and operations.
  • Estimate revenue and capacity gains, then build supporting business cases and roadmaps.
  • Monitor markets, competitors, industry leaders, asset and wealth managers, technology platforms, and frontier model providers.
  • Identify emerging competitive signals and assess their implications.
  • Develop Capital Group’s perspective on AI’s strategic impact.
  • Model three-to-five-year scenarios for how AI could reshape the business.
  • Turn strategic goals into executable plans and define success measures with product, engineering, data, business, and enterprise AI teams.
  • Maintain strategic alignment across the portfolio and work with Finance to realize business value.
  • Account for governance, regulation, data readiness, and client trust in AI recommendations.
  • Prepare concise leadership communications and explain complex AI topics in clear business language.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or internal strategy.
  • A record of career progression and advising senior leaders.
  • Experience defining complex strategic questions, building business cases, and advising senior leaders.
  • Financial services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the business impact of generative and agentic AI.
  • Ability to work effectively with product, data, and technology partners.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated commitment to developing AI fluency.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, building scenarios and financial models, and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Strong, concise executive communication skills.
  • Curious, open-minded, collaborative approach and willingness to pursue ideas that challenge current plans.
