Clinical Review RN, Oncology AI

Description

  • Assess oncology records against clinical and payer policy requirements.
  • Escalate complex cases that AI workflows cannot classify accurately.
  • Analyze cases involving multiple cancer diagnoses, complex treatment histories, or unclear documentation.
  • Record findings and recommendations in Salesforce, LIMS, and other workflow systems.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent clinical review outcomes.
  • Audit AI-generated clinical decisions and data classifications.
  • Measure AI performance against established clinical review standards.
  • Spot errors and trends, and identify ways to improve automation accuracy.
  • Help validate new AI models, workflows, and clinical review processes.
  • Provide structured feedback to guide future AI improvements.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to strengthen clinical AI capabilities.
  • Help set clinical decision rules and requirements for AI-supported workflows.
  • Turn clinical review findings into practical automation recommendations.
  • Support testing and rollout of AI-enabled solutions.
  • Contribute to Natera’s oncology clinical intelligence platforms.
  • Build knowledge of payer coverage policies for Signatera and oncology testing.
  • Assess clinical documentation against coverage criteria.
  • Flag cases that need further clinical review or reimbursement support.
  • Keep up with oncology standards, treatment pathways, and reimbursement trends.

Requirements

  • Hold an active RN license in a state or through a compact license.
  • A BSN is preferred; an ADN may be considered with substantial oncology experience.
  • Bring at least five years of oncology nursing experience in inpatient, outpatient, infusion, navigation, utilization review, clinical review, case management, or a related setting.
  • Understand cancer biology, oncology treatment pathways, disease staging, and patient treatment journeys.
  • Have experience reviewing and interpreting medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Apply strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Communicate and document clearly in writing.
  • Be comfortable working extensively with technology platforms and digital workflows.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with payer policies, utilization management, prior authorization, or medical necessity review is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting AI, automation, clinical decision support, or technology-enabled healthcare workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Epic, LIMS, or other healthcare technology platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, or MRD testing is strongly preferred.
