Support DSV customers in Nanjing through freight forwarding operations. Manage bookings, documentation, invoicing, claims follow-up, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.
Description
- Deliver efficient, high-quality customer service
- Quote charges for shippers and consignees when needed
- Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and claims follow-up
- Coordinate customer issues with the appropriate internal departments
- Escalate irregularities and issues requiring supervisor support
- Assess and report on subcontractor service standards
- Keep customers informed about pre-claim details and status
- Compile customer statistics and reports as requested
- Prepare and process operational and financial documentation
- Send shipping advice to overseas stations
- Provide cover for the Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor
- Complete additional assigned duties and support other team members as needed
Requirements
- Maintain daily business knowledge and follow-up to meet regional guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Apply local SOPs when working with shippers and consignees
- Conduct due diligence and verify documents against DSV standards and customer requirements
- Book shipments in line with SOPs and quoted terms
- Respond to customers by phone, email, and in person
- Verify customer credit terms and current credit status
- Prepare customer statistics and operational reports
- Process waybills, warehouse advice, trucking orders, invoices, and other requested customer documents
- Complete invoicing, invoice checks and posting, and job costing
- Keep Track and Trace systems up to date
