Customer Service Representative

Support customers using Concept2 fitness ergometers, racing oars, and spare parts. Resolve product questions and technical issues while documenting recurring problems and customer feedback.

Description

  • Support orders, product inquiries, and technical troubleshooting for RowErgs, SkiErgs, BikeErgs, StrengthErgs, composite racing oars, and spare parts
  • Assist customers by phone, email, web, and occasional in-person communication
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic product issues through product expertise, documentation, and targeted questions
  • Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Concept2 products, components, and recurring field issues
  • Record customer contacts, technical concerns, product feedback, and performance patterns
  • Escalate recurring product problems and potential improvements to internal teams
  • Deliver consistently professional, attentive customer service

Requirements

  • At least 1–3 years of professional experience in customer service, technical support, or product support
  • Working knowledge of mechanical or electronic systems; practical troubleshooting experience is preferred
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills with the ability to ask useful diagnostic questions
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented approach to work
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus CRM or ticketing tools
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
  • Experience supporting technical consumer products and reviewing product or warranty performance data
  • Background in rowing or fitness is advantageous
  • Current and future authorization to work in the United States is required
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable
