Client Services Specialist - Banking (Miami Hybrid)

Provide client servicing for corporate, real estate, business banking, and private clients. Support loan servicing, deposits, treasury onboarding, compliance activities, and relationship management.

Description

  • Support Corporate, Real Estate, Business Banking, and Private Client Group clients across deposit, loan, and Treasury Management services
  • Respond promptly to client requests and inquiries to support retention and satisfaction
  • Conduct client outreach in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Process loan servicing requests involving advances, pay-downs, statements, billing, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
  • Open and process accounts, products, and services for new-client onboarding
  • Act as the primary client-servicing contact while maintaining detailed relationship knowledge
  • Issue, collect, review, and upload deposit account documents and disclosures
  • Coordinate Electronic Banking and Treasury Management onboarding, forms, implementation, and training
  • Complete customer profiles, CIP, Bizchex-Chexsystem, ownership records, account profiles, list checks, OFAC checks, and Google searches
  • Maintain analysis composites and ensure client data is linked and balanced for reporting and analysis
  • Process domestic and international wires, internal transfers, stop payments, cashier's checks, and debit cards
  • Make overdraft decisions or secure approvals within authorized limits
  • Collect missing documents and fulfill BSA/RFI requests, including EDD/KYC updates, PO alerts, OFAC checks, and high-risk reviews
  • Complete KYC/EDD work and Regulatory Excellence Consultant findings within required deadlines
  • Follow up on onboarding and maintenance activities, including funding, Treasury Management implementation, online banking setup, and KYC status
  • Escalate unresolved matters to the Relationship Manager or Supervisor
  • Complete Reg E disputes, resolve fraud and check disputes, and correct check-processing errors in Aithent
  • Process deposit-account requests covering CIS maintenance, CIP corrections, closures, address changes, signer maintenance, and deposit research
  • Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations and the Non-Post database
  • Prepare client correspondence, reports, Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and organizational charts
  • Organize and maintain client deposit and loan files
  • Maintain product knowledge, attend training, assess client needs, and cross-sell bank products and services
  • Communicate with internal departments and Relationship Managers about client activity, issues, RFI status, compromised accounts, and opportunities
  • Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews as needed
  • Follow operational, regulatory, and security policies and procedures
  • Coordinate loan-closing checklist collection and support Relationship Manager dashboard and pipeline management
  • Create opportunities, complete KYC with Relationship Managers, coordinate payoffs, releases, and fee waivers, and resolve past dues, maturing loans, minimum deposit requirements, and covenants
  • Collect, review, and upload required loan ticklers and covenants

Requirements

  • At least two years of client service experience, preferably in financial services
  • Ability to respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide thorough support in a financial services setting
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, particularly loan servicing, deposit, and Treasury Management offerings
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure while managing tasks and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Proficiency with loan and deposit systems and banking software for transaction processing, account management, and issue resolution
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting, data analysis, and professional communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex banking concepts clearly and professionally
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills
  • Associate degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
