Tavsif

  • Process patient payments by phone in line with financial responsibility policies
  • Set up and maintain patient payment plans
  • Keep transactions, documentation, and data accurate and complete
  • Explain claim notes, account balances, and billing outcomes to patients
  • Verify, review, and update insurance details
  • Update insurance records in the EMR and resubmit pending or corrected claims
  • Explain coordination of benefits, deductibles, coinsurance, copays, filing deadlines, and claim denials
  • Spot billing discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve them
  • Review account histories to identify the causes of billing or payment concerns
  • Recommend next steps and resolutions consistent with policy
  • Work with billing systems, EMR platforms, tools, and knowledge resources
  • Use multiple systems at once while assisting patients
  • Follow assigned schedules and remain available during scheduled hours
  • Complete client-required training and take part in further and cross-training
  • Follow HIPAA and all confidentiality, documentation, privacy, and security requirements
  • Provide professional, accountable, empathetic, patient-focused service

Talablar

  • Customer service or call center experience is required
  • Healthcare billing, insurance, or claims experience is strongly preferred
  • Payment processing or financial transaction experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Technical proficiency with EMR systems and standard computer applications
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or virtual setting
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, including reading and comprehension
  • Background check required as allowed by applicable law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and close attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of healthcare billing and insurance concepts
  • Ability to explain complex billing information clearly in patient-friendly terms
  • Comfort using multiple systems and tools at the same time
  • Organized, self-directed, and collaborative approach to work

Imtiyozlar

  • Starting pay is $15 per hour, with a $1 per hour differential for night and weekend shifts
  • Paid training, typically two weeks, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
  • Eligible for benefits beginning on the first day of the month after 60 days
