Service Desk Analyst

Opis

  • Log, assess, and resolve requests for information systems services.
  • Provide direct Tier 1 support to customers.
  • Route calls to the appropriate support teams or staff.
  • Track processes and monitor the status of systems.
  • Keep help desk database records accurate.
  • Create and update resolution procedures, flowcharts, and reference materials.
  • Communicate in person, by phone, memo, and email.
  • Act in keeping with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Work under general direction without lead or supervisory duties.

Zahteve

  • Associate degree in computer science is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One to three years of end-user support experience is preferred.
  • One to three years of technical support call center or help desk experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software applications.
  • Thorough understanding of information systems and support group functions.
  • IT support expertise appropriate to education and training.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot computer operating systems, applications, and system management tools.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret equipment status indicators.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation.
  • Accurate typing while speaking with customers by phone.
  • Customer-focused, professional manner.
  • Good balance and coordination.
  • Ability to perform the listed physical activities and light work, including occasional lifting or exertion up to 25 pounds and frequent exertion up to 10 pounds.
  • Close visual acuity for data analysis, transcription, computer-terminal viewing, and extensive reading.
