Descriere

  • Drive company-wide HR programs, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Use workforce trends, metrics, and reports to inform HR decisions.
  • Work with executive leaders to shape long-term human capital strategy.
  • Advise on organizational design, talent planning, change management, and workforce growth.
  • Keep the employee handbook, HR policies, and procedures current.
  • Lead HR audits and manage risk reduction.
  • Oversee daily HR operations and consistent application of policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour rules, OSHA and DOT standards, and employment eligibility requirements.
  • Manage recruitment from start to finish, with a focus on high-volume logistics, transportation, and warehouse roles.
  • Guide workforce planning and staffing models.
  • Lead employee relations work, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Coach leaders on communication, performance feedback, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee the performance management framework.
  • Support career growth and succession planning.
  • Create and deliver compliance, skills, and leadership training.
  • Manage compensation strategy, incentive plans, and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations on merit reviews, incentive planning, and workforce budgets.
  • Track market trends to keep total rewards programs competitive and equitable.
  • Manage the HR Manager and administrative HR staff directly.
  • Carry out other assigned duties.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree or HR credential such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is preferred.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 or more years in a leadership role.
  • Strong strategic judgment and business acumen.
  • Broad knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience overseeing HR operations across multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Skill in analyzing workforce data and interpreting HR metrics.
  • Expertise in organizational development and leading change initiatives.
  • Strong communication and influencing abilities.
  • Cultural competency and commitment to an inclusive, respectful workplace.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%.
  • A record of success in strategic HR planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, multi-site organization.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and workforce data reporting tools.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
