Сипаттама

  • Oversee employment compliance in all countries where Overview AI operates, identifying and resolving gaps.
  • Lead HR for the China team in partnership with the Shanghai HR and Administration Manager.
  • Create scalable processes for onboarding, offboarding, contracts, leave, cross-country payroll inputs, and performance reviews.
  • Develop a global policy framework and employee handbook with country-specific supplements.
  • Support entry into new countries, including decisions about legal entities, EOR arrangements, and employment setup.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
  • Keep employee data, contracts, and records accurate, reportable, and ready for audits.
  • Oversee relationships with EOR providers, payroll and benefits partners, and employment counsel.
  • Lead a small team of one or two direct reports.
  • Report to the Head of Global Recruiting.
  • Travel 15% to 40%, depending on location.

Талаптар

  • At least five years of HR experience, including direct responsibility for compliance and HR operations.
  • Hands-on China HR experience covering labor contracts, social insurance, housing fund, and local labor law.
  • Experience managing global HR compliance across multiple countries, including employment law, contracts, and statutory benefits.
  • Knowledge of US federal and multistate HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience creating HR processes or programs from the ground up at a growing company.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to execution.
  • Ability to work across time zones with teams in Asia and Europe.
  • HR experience in APAC beyond China is preferred.
  • Experience with EMEA HR compliance is preferred.
  • Experience with EOR and PEO models and legal entity setup decisions is preferred.
  • Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or organizations with employees working at customer sites is preferred.
