Description

  • Manage and continuously improve enterprise voice and telephony services
  • Own and enhance the Microsoft Teams Phone platform
  • Deliver country rollouts, migrations, platform upgrades, and service transition activities
  • Optimize PSTN connectivity, SIP trunks, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and SBC environments
  • Coordinate with telecom providers on numbering, migrations, and international voice services
  • Resolve complex telephony issues and provide expert escalation for critical incidents
  • Promote governance, compliance, and established voice-service best practices
  • Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to IT teams
  • Work with infrastructure, workplace, network, service desk, security, legal, privacy, procurement, and global teams
  • Report to the Head of Cloud and Infrastructure

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise voice, unified communications, telecommunications, and cloud infrastructure
  • A strong record of delivering and supporting business-critical communications services
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone in complex enterprise environments
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing modern voice solutions
  • Knowledge of Direct Routing, Operator Connect, PSTN connectivity, SBCs, dial plans, voice routing, call queues, auto attendants, and emergency calling
  • Experience managing carriers, number provisioning, international porting, service migrations, and supplier relationships across multiple countries
  • Awareness of regional voice regulations, compliance obligations, and operational requirements
  • Experience with Genesys or NICE is an advantage
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, QoS, firewalls, NAT, VoIP protocols, and network troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability
  • Ability to advise senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional European language skills are an advantage
