Senior Inside Sales Representative - Element Biosciences (Remote, United States)

Drive inside sales for Element Biosciences’ genomics instruments, sequencing consumables, and services across the Northeast. Manage qualified leads, Salesforce pipeline activity, customer presentations, and account growth.

Description

  • Meet or exceed sales targets for instruments, sequencing consumables, and related services from initial capital purchases through the instrument lifecycle
  • Manage customer sales through phone, email, web and remote conferencing, and limited on-site visits
  • Partner with commercial teams to source and qualify leads, identify opportunity owners, and route qualified opportunities in Salesforce
  • Meet or exceed sales and lead goals set by commercial leadership
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer communications
  • Qualify leads generated through events, marketing campaigns, and prospecting lists
  • Collaborate with field sales, field application scientists, product management, and commercial leadership to resolve customer questions and objections
  • Find upsell and cross-sell opportunities and increase instrument utilization throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop and sustain productive customer and internal partnerships
  • Keep Salesforce CRM records current for lead qualification, funnel management, and forecasting
  • Meet daily customer phone-contact goals and present solutions aligned with research needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in biology, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field
  • Life sciences experience with 3–5 years of cold calling, CRM, or sequencing laboratory experience
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to mentor junior inside sales representatives
  • Experience with strategic selling, Professional Selling Skills, cross-functional collaboration, and value-based selling
  • 3–5 years of experience in prospecting, lead qualification, funnel management, closing, and ongoing account management
  • Ability to deliver effective, professional presentations to customers, peers, and management
  • Ability to frequently move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Flexibility to support customers outside standard business hours when needed
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
