Senior Developer Relations Lead at White Circle (US Remote)

Lead developer relations for White Circle’s AI safety platform, helping engineers and researchers discover and adopt its products. Drive open-source launches, technical content, community growth, and partnerships across the AI ecosystem.

Description

  • Own developer relations strategy and improve how engineers and AI researchers discover, understand, and adopt White Circle’s products.
  • Lead technical launches for open-source releases and developer tools, including the Halo framework.
  • Shape launch messaging and demonstrations from planning through launch day.
  • Create and publish blog posts, tutorials, walkthroughs, demos, and social content for X and LinkedIn.
  • Organize hackathons, meetups, and technical events, primarily in San Francisco and New York.
  • Build an engaged technical community around White Circle’s open-source projects and platform.
  • Develop technical partnerships with AI labs, developer-tool companies, and research teams.
  • Advise design and creative teams on the technical content of promotional and product videos.
  • Measure signups, repository stars, views, event attendance, and hiring-pipeline results, then improve programs based on performance.

Requirements

  • Technical experience as a software engineer, machine learning engineer, or researcher.
  • Background at a technical product company, preferably in developer tools, infrastructure, databases, or AI.
  • Track record of organizing hackathons, meetups, or technical events with measurable outcomes such as attendance, signups, or resulting projects.
  • Established audience or community among engineers or AI researchers on X, LinkedIn, GitHub, or another relevant platform.
  • Strong understanding of AI tooling, including coding agents, evaluation frameworks, open-source models, and their builders.
  • Ability to explain sophisticated technical topics in an engaging way without oversimplifying them.
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to take ownership and execute quickly.
  • Based in the United States or able to work US hours; San Francisco or New York is preferred, while exceptional candidates elsewhere may be considered.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Developer marketing or DevRel leadership experience for a technical launch that increased adoption is a strong advantage.
  • Contributions to or maintenance of widely used open-source projects are a strong advantage.
  • Relationships within the AI research and developer community, or experience with AI safety, evaluations, or reliability, are strong advantages.
