Senior Coding Quality and Optimization Analyst – Remote Colorado

Evaluate AI-enabled healthcare coding performance for Solventum through benchmark analysis, quality review, and compliance monitoring. Identify opportunities to scale automation responsibly across healthcare operations.

Description

  • Assess autonomous coding results against benchmarks to measure performance and uncover trends.
  • Determine which clinical scenarios, chart types, specialties, and workflows are suitable for broader automation.
  • Investigate systemic AI errors, compliance issues, coding inconsistencies, and data anomalies for review or escalation.
  • Partner with reporting, data science, engineering, compliance, clinical, coding, and content teams.
  • Convert analytical findings into recommendations that support responsible automation, risk reduction, and measurable operational outcomes.
  • Present insights, risks, opportunities, and customer implications to leaders, stakeholders, and customer-facing teams.
  • Travel domestically for up to 10% of the role.
  • Complete required on-site onboarding at a designated company location during the first days of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field plus eight years of complex inpatient and outpatient facility coding, revenue cycle, and healthcare technology experience; or a high school diploma/GED or higher plus twelve years of direct healthcare revenue cycle, medical coding, and healthcare technology experience.
  • Current facility coding certification such as CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT.
  • Experience with electronic health records, computer-assisted coding, autonomous coding engines, or healthcare automation platforms.
  • Background analyzing coding, revenue cycle, automation, quality, compliance, or operational performance data.
  • Experience working across technical, clinical, compliance, coding, reporting, or customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to clearly explain insights, ROI considerations, risks, and recommendations to leadership, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Advanced analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship.
