Senior Sage X3 Operational Consultant | NexTec Group | Remote US

Description

  • Contribute to or lead the financial workstreams of Sage X3 projects
  • Review Statements of Work and Master Service Agreements before starting project work
  • Deliver assigned work with limited direction while following project documentation and NexTec methodology
  • Sustain an average annual utilization rate of at least 70 percent
  • Keep required Sage X3 certifications current and continue expanding Sage X3 expertise
  • Lead requirements discovery and solution design for operations modules
  • Partner with consulting and client core teams to gather necessary information
  • Direct or supervise configuration, training, testing, and go-live work for medium-sized or complex projects
  • Drive assigned activities and resolve functional questions with limited escalation
  • Report project status, risks, and concerns to project managers and architects or team leads
  • Mentor team members and perform quality checks for methodology and best-practice compliance
  • Work with stakeholders to negotiate solutions for business, process, and functional issues
  • Build and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with customers
  • Apply NexTec implementation methodologies throughout project delivery
  • Meet utilization objectives while maintaining strong customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, computer science, finance, supply chain, cannabis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least eight years of ERP implementation experience
  • At least three years of Sage X3 implementation experience
  • Sage X3 Manufacturing Certification is required, or candidates must be willing to earn additional certifications
  • Additional certifications are advantageous
  • Professional services consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience facilitating group design discussions is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work in a high-pressure setting
  • Ability to explain end-to-end business processes and their key integration points
  • Ability to collaborate across varied business processes and functions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of business processes and application functions
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry best practices
  • Professional conduct and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Must be based in the United States
