Senior French Reviewer and Translator at Aviso Wealth
Lead French-language review and translation for Aviso Wealth’s financial communications. Support bilingual quality, terminology management, and compliance across internal and external content.
Description
- Ensure French translations meet Aviso Wealth’s quality standards and brand guidelines
- Monitor and uphold linguistic quality across external translation providers
- Provide feedback on vendor translations and terminology choices
- Research financial-services and industry-specific topics
- Review colleagues’ work when required
- Review and translate brochures, financial commentary, advertising, presentations, correspondence, digital content, web materials, and statements
- Track regulatory developments, financial-market news, and relevant international events
- Identify and escalate reputational and other risks
- Maintain consistent terminology in the internal MultiTerm database
Requirements
- Bring more than seven years of translation experience and more than five years of editing or review experience, ideally in financial services or a related field
- Understand financial markets, industry terminology, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Completion of the IFIC or Canadian Securities Course is considered an asset
- Demonstrate exceptional written and spoken French and English, including strong spelling and grammar
- Manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Use Windows, Antidote, and computer-assisted translation tools such as SDL Trados and Language Weaver proficiently
- Maintain strong attention to detail
- Contribute to team success through trust and accountability
