Remote Unified Communications Analyst

Manage Dane Street’s Zoom Phone and telephony systems, supporting users, reporting, and communications compliance. Help keep communications reliable across the company’s healthcare claims operations.

Description

  • Lead VoIP, telephony, and digital communications expertise for the organization
  • Administer Zoom Phone and Zoom Workplace Business Plus, including queues, IVR menus, routing, business hours, shared lines, voicemail, numbers, devices, and recording policies
  • Manage phone-system user accounts and changes, including licenses, extensions, direct numbers, and MACDs
  • Monitor phone-system usage and check that lines, numbers, queues, and devices work properly
  • Troubleshoot call quality, connectivity, and routing problems, involving vendors when needed
  • Provide call metrics and team performance data to Business Department leads
  • Prepare and distribute regular and one-off telephony reports
  • Turn telephony data into recommendations for department and executive leaders
  • Work with the Analytics team on reporting and analysis
  • Develop job aids and process instructions with the Training team
  • Help introduce new phone features, workflows, and system changes
  • Respond to employee and leadership questions about phone metrics, system configuration, call flows, and pain points
  • Handle escalations involving telephony and communications systems
  • Manage Dane Street’s relationship with its Zoom implementation and support partner
  • Define requests, coordinate engineering reviews and bulk changes, verify completed work, and see Zoom support cases through resolution
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and Dane Street policies
  • Oversee call-recording consent and retention, access controls, and E911 requirements
  • Supply evidence and documentation for HITRUST certification renewal
  • Within the first 90 days, assess the phone setup, operate the system independently, deliver reports, implement improvements, prepare compliance documents, and create a six-month roadmap

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer information systems, or network engineering is preferred
  • At least five years of unified communications, telecommunications, or VoIP administration experience is required
  • Hands-on experience administering Zoom Phone and Zoom Workplace
  • Experience with call center or call queue operations, telephony reporting, and performance metrics
  • Experience with PolyAI and/or Gong
  • Working knowledge of SIP, QoS, call routing, and basic networking
  • Experience managing implementation partners and vendor relationships
  • Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance
  • Ability to sit or remain stationary at a desk for extended periods and work at a computer
  • Regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, headset, and other digital productivity tools
  • Visual acuity to view screens, analyze data and reports, and read extensive digital documentation
  • Frequent communication by email, chat, phone, and video conferencing
  • Occasional availability outside standard business hours for scheduled system changes or urgent phone outages
  • Provide and support your own internet service
  • Maintain an uninterrupted internet connection while working from home
