Partner Business Manager, ePlus — Remote United States

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a partner business manager to grow ePlus revenue, pipeline, and profitability. The role leads partner strategy, sales relationships, and customer solutions across New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Description

  • Act as a trusted adviser and subject-matter expert for ePlus
  • Develop mutually beneficial partner relationships that support HPE’s business priorities
  • Own end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline growth through joint business plans and data-driven sales activity
  • Build expertise in partner priorities, industry trends, IT environments, investment strategies, HPE priorities, and HPE technology
  • Present the value of HPE portfolios and solutions to distinguish HPE from competitors
  • Establish executive relationships with ePlus to expand HPE market share
  • Coordinate HPE engagement with ePlus across sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client meetings
  • Lead account mapping between ePlus and HPE Sales to align field teams
  • Implement HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of ePlus
  • Influence partner resources and sellers to promote the HPE portfolio
  • Match HPE products, services, and technology alliance solutions to ePlus customer needs and the assigned quota
  • Recruit new partners and cultivate those relationships
  • Ensure partners understand and comply with HPE SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
  • Coordinate sales pursuits across varied customer segments

Requirements

  • A university or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically, at least 8 years of experience in partner sales
  • Experience selling through partners in a complex business environment
  • Experience working with and through ePlus
  • Strong awareness of current technology trends and the related HPE strategy
  • Ability to influence partners and apply effective sales techniques
  • Understanding of business and financial fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of HPE products and how they differ from competitors
  • Strong understanding of the partner industry, its trends, competitors, and channel
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve business conflicts
  • Understanding of financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue projections
  • Ability to forecast sales quota and anticipate partner needs
  • Professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to innovate and take proactive action to advance sales
  • Ability to work with partners across Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Service Providers
  • Ability to manage a substantial sales quota
