Executive Planning Consultant I - Remote

Remote financial planning role serving Fidelity Workplace Investing executives and benefit plan clients. Provides tailored guidance across wealth planning, retirement, benefits, investments, and related financial goals.

Description

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with executives and management leaders at Workplace benefit plan clients
  • Partner with clients to create comprehensive wealth planning strategies tailored to their needs
  • Assist with advanced executive planning in collaboration with Vice President Executive Planning Consultants
  • Work closely with Managing Directors, Benefits Planning Consultants, Benefits Relationship Managers, and other executive services associates
  • Expand existing relationships and support engagement with new executives
  • Ensure a smooth, coordinated client experience
  • Refer executives with substantial assets or complex planning needs to Vice President Executive Planning Consultants
  • Deliver financial planning and guidance to Fidelity Workplace Investing executive clients
  • Address college funding, savings objectives, early retirement, and other wealth planning priorities
  • Integrate executive benefits and plan provisions into each client’s financial planning process
  • Explain the potential financial impact of changes to executive benefits
  • Apply product expertise and provide financial planning, advice, and guidance aligned with clients’ goals

Requirements

  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required
  • An insurance license is required, or must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • CFP designation is encouraged
  • CEP designation is encouraged
  • Experience serving executives and working with employee benefit plans
  • Ability to assess individual financial situations and recommend suitable solutions
  • Strong knowledge of brokerage, insurance, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning
  • Ability to use Fidelity planning, guidance, and service technologies
  • Ability to meet complex regulatory requirements associated with required licenses
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills in individual and group settings
  • Strategic judgment and the ability to influence executive decisions
  • Strong practice management and execution capabilities
  • Ability to introduce investment strategies and identify opportunities to consolidate additional assets
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Knowledge of brokerage, insurance, money management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning
  • Ability to engage executives personally and build lasting relationships
  • Ability to integrate executive benefits and unique plan provisions into financial planning
  • Ability to deliver client-focused financial planning advice and guidance
  • Understanding of corporate culture and executive needs
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
