Customer Service Representative – 1st Shift, Stryker

Support Stryker’s medical product sales and healthcare customers as a first-shift Customer Service Representative. Handle inquiries, pricing, billing, inventory, and customer records in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Deliver customer service for sales, promotions, installations, and communications
  • Handle telephone inquiries from sales teams and healthcare professionals
  • Respond to internal and external customers promptly, accurately, courteously, and professionally
  • Recommend improvements to service levels, internal processes, and customer support practices
  • Assist the Sales Department with questions received by phone, email, and fax
  • Coordinate with Sales to research and prepare responses
  • Document customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
  • Calculate charges for requested products and usage
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to resolve invoice disputes and discrepancies
  • Keep customer pricing current in systems of record, including contract entry
  • Apply and support quality initiatives across the Customer Service workflow
  • Keep ERP inventory records accurate through appropriate billing and replenishment processes
  • Provide additional support beyond standard hours when call volume or workload requires it

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of relevant work experience
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
  • Ideal candidates live within one hour of the Wood Dale, Illinois location
  • Preferred experience includes account representation and ERP, CRM, or SAP systems
  • Preferred experience in hospitals, the medical field, or hospital purchasing
