Territory Manager, Interventional Systems — Philadelphia

Lead sales of Terumo Interventional Systems devices to hospitals and outpatient facilities in the Philadelphia area. Build accounts, support procedures, educate clinicians, and meet territory sales goals.

Description

  • Promote Terumo Interventional Systems products to interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and purchasing teams.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals.
  • Create and execute territory sales strategies.
  • Deliver sales and product presentations.
  • Train customers in safe, effective product use.
  • Keep current on the clinical and technical details of Terumo and competing products.
  • Attend endovascular procedures, provide support, and deliver on-site training.
  • Retain and expand current accounts while developing new business.
  • Monitor competitive activity and take appropriate action.
  • Share market insights and competitor activity with the Region Manager.
  • Build customer relationships through in-person visits and phone calls.
  • Provide customer training sessions.
  • Coordinate with Customer Administration, Logistics, Marketing, and Technical Support.
  • Submit weekly, monthly, and competitive product reports.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conventions.
  • Follow TMC quality systems, FDA regulations, international and AdvaMed guidelines, and Terumo policies.
  • Identify customer complaints and refer them to Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure promotional content and materials are clinically accurate.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years of medical device sales experience.
  • Cath lab and/or operating room sales experience preferred.
  • Equivalent education, training, and experience may qualify, including at least 11 years of medical device sales experience.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Endovascular and/or operating room experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Personal vehicle with active insurance coverage.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Solutions-focused sales approach.
  • Ability to understand complex medical procedures and hold detailed technical discussions.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, especially the vascular and venous systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and iPad navigation.
  • Ability to drive a personal vehicle daily, including long distances.
  • Ability to access and work in interventional radiology suites, cath labs, and operating rooms.
  • Ability to wear required protective attire, stand for extended periods, follow hospital protocols, and remain aware of potential biohazards.
  • Ability to meet facility vendor credentialing requirements, which may include training, background checks, and immunization records.
