Client Services Agent - Missouri Remote

Provide enrollment, education, and ongoing support to Acumen clients, including individuals with disabilities and their families. The role combines data entry, document processing, client communications, inquiry resolution, and program compliance.

Description

  • Guide Acumen clients through enrollment, education, and ongoing support
  • Assist employers and employees throughout the enrollment process
  • Process required documents and coordinate electronic communications
  • Enter and maintain accurate information across multiple databases
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients and program contacts
  • Interpret and explain program rules, regulations, and implementation requirements
  • Coordinate communication between clients and Acumen departments
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries within contractual deadlines
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
  • Handle escalated matters involving client families and state agencies
  • Create approaches to expand existing programs through marketing, education, and community outreach
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve client and program issues
  • Respond effectively to variable call and email volumes
  • Deliver customer service by telephone and electronic communication
  • Work occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays when needed
  • Help maintain the company’s compliant cybersecurity practices
  • Complete other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Residence in the St. Louis, Missouri area
  • At least one year of data entry experience
  • Previous customer service or client relations experience
  • Experience using multiple applications at the same time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet tools, email, and PDF documents
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to manage changing inbound and outbound call volumes
  • Schedule flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to balance competing requests and meet multiple deadlines
  • Patient, persistent approach with reliable follow-through
  • Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking ability
  • Ability to work with complex clients and manage stressful situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Secure home workspace with high-speed internet when applicable
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance when required by the program
  • Willingness to earn applicable state-mandated certifications
