Client Relationship Manager, Utility Consulting

- Lead client relationships and support clients across multiple projects.
- Serve as lead consultant on engagements of every size.
- Keep project outcomes aligned with organizational service standards.
- Oversee the daily work of client projects.
- Supervise Senior and Associate Consultants, Analysts, and other assigned staff.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise and lead projects.
- Serve as the primary client contact and develop plans to meet business requirements.
- Meet with clients regularly and address their concerns.
- Coordinate with direct service channels to meet client needs.
- Work across departments to support client satisfaction.
- Guide clients through project cycles and keep them informed.
- Confirm project scope and expectations, and deliver work on schedule.
- Prepare and coordinate Statements of Work covering scope, deliverables, timelines, and requirements.
- Coordinate procurement needs, including purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Bridge communication between clients and vendors, and arrange business requirements meetings.
- Support contract negotiations and discussions of products and pricing.
- Coordinate accurate invoicing and obtain necessary approvals on time.
- Communicate updates on issue resolution, product and service features or upgrades, and company changes.
- Work at client sites about four days each week and at the Util-Assist office about one day each week.
- Travel to client sites across the Greater Toronto Area and other locations as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
- Three to five years of client portfolio management experience in professional services.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
- In-depth understanding of client operations to help develop client solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the utility industry.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to influence clients, negotiate, and build support for business deals.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Advanced problem-solving ability, including developing ways to improve client efficiency and productivity.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across departments on strategies that benefit clients.
- Entrepreneurial ability to create and deliver innovative, tailored client solutions.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Must complete SIN and passport verification and pass a police vulnerability check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
- Able to travel to client locations across the Greater Toronto Area and elsewhere as needed.
