Tavsif

  • Plan and deliver small meetings and events for fewer than 50 attendees independently
  • Manage live and virtual event logistics, from venue selection and contracts to travel, catering, room setup, virtual platforms, audiovisual services, and ancillary vendors
  • Oversee audience generation and attendee data, including post-meeting Sunshine Act reporting
  • Process payments for healthcare professionals and vendor invoices
  • Prepare and monitor attendee spending reports in line with Sunshine Act requirements
  • Review and reconcile final invoices and pass-through costs within required timelines
  • Maintain and distribute meeting templates and materials for targeted attendees
  • Arrange outsourced ground transportation and manage arrival and departure manifests
  • Partner with internal departments to keep planning and coordination on schedule
  • Keep the manager and project team informed throughout each program
  • Assess program progress and address changes to scope
  • Meet or exceed minimum billable utilization targets
  • Provide on-site event management and travel as needed
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • At least 2–3 years of meeting planning experience
  • CMP certification is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using Cvent
  • Experience with other web-based registration platforms
  • Experience delivering virtual meetings through Zoom, WebEx, Adobe Connect, On24, or GoToMeeting
  • Knowledge of hotels, air travel, and the event planning industry
  • Strong accounting and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to manage assigned projects independently
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and coordinate multiple meetings at once
  • Ability to follow direction and apply it effectively to active projects
  • Ability to manage conflict, solve problems, and work effectively in a changing environment
  • Experience managing and traveling to meetings in the United States and internationally
  • Availability outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Understanding of and compliance with PhRMA, FDA, OIG, ACCME, and ADA guidelines
