Descriere

  • Win new business and expand an established portfolio of corporate and financial institution customers across Germany and Austria
  • Increase Dow Jones’ presence in both markets by uncovering opportunities and developing and retaining key accounts within an assigned territory
  • Engage senior stakeholders, understand their business and regulatory priorities, and position Dow Jones Professional Information Services as a strategic solution
  • Partner with specialist teams, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Find and develop relevant opportunities across the wider One Dow Jones portfolio
  • Drive revenue growth across Germany and Austria, with emphasis on new business and key accounts
  • Protect and expand existing revenue through renewals, cross-selling, and up-selling
  • Establish and sustain relationships across customer accounts and functions, including with senior stakeholders
  • Create and deliver account and territory plans centered on key accounts and priority verticals
  • Lead discovery, proposals, commercial discussions, and negotiations, involving specialist support when appropriate
  • Represent Dow Jones at industry conferences, client forums, and other customer-facing events
  • Keep Salesforce records, pipeline updates, and forecasts accurate and current
  • Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and initiatives for local markets
  • Track and communicate market developments, competitor activity, and customer requirements
  • Share customer feedback and market intelligence with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager

Cerințe

  • Experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in business information, SaaS, research and advisory, risk and compliance, or related professional services
  • Demonstrated success generating new revenue and expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
  • Ability to understand complex organisations and turn customer needs, expectations, and business priorities into clear value
  • Strong capabilities in account planning, territory management, negotiation, and forecasting
  • Self-directed, disciplined, and motivated, with the ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with people from varied cultures and backgrounds
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German is essential; additional languages are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany and Austria
