Claims Analyst I – Remote in Brazil | Alper Seguros

Handle low- and medium-complexity claims at Alper Seguros, a Brazilian insurance brokerage. Review coverage, documentation, deadlines, and communications with insurers and clients.

Descriere

  • Open and record claims files accurately in internal and insurer systems
  • Perform initial coverage reviews against applicable policy terms and supporting documents
  • Request, organize, and validate the documentation needed to complete claims files
  • Create tracking reports and provide status updates to clients and internal teams
  • Assist Claims Analysts II and III with cause analysis and evaluation of claimed amounts
  • Oversee adjusters and external providers to help maintain required deadlines and quality standards
  • Act as the operational contact for insurers, responding to inquiries and supplying additional information
  • Complete work within established deadlines while supporting SLA, quality, and productivity targets
  • Help introduce operational improvements and claims-department best practices

Cerințe

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or a related discipline
  • Training or short courses in insurance fundamentals and claims adjustment are advantageous
  • Experience with an insurance broker, insurer, or insurance-market service provider
  • Background in administrative work, customer service, or technical support within insurance
  • Prior experience processing low-complexity claims is preferred
  • Basic understanding of Liability and Financial Lines policies and contracts
  • Ability to interpret contractual materials and technical reports
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with consultative customer service and insurer and client relationships
  • Experience with internal or external claims management systems is advantageous
  • Basic English proficiency is preferred
