Customer Service Specialist - Montvale, NJ (Onsite)

Manage customer orders, inquiries, and escalations for Balchem’s animal nutrition customers in an onsite Montvale role. Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Product Management to support fulfillment and issue resolution.

ERP

Apraksts

  • Manage the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders, from verification through confirmation
  • Act as the main contact for customer questions, order updates, issues, and escalations
  • Coordinate with Product Management on launches, product updates, customer-specific needs, and issue resolution
  • Work with Supply Chain, Production, and Planning to align fulfillment with inventory, production schedules, and customer commitments
  • Resolve customer complaints, returns, and credit requests
  • Build and maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s product lines
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to track inventory levels and product availability
  • Communicate daily with Logistics and Shipping teams about shipment rescheduling
  • Assist domestic and international Customer Service colleagues with order processing, process alignment, and business communications
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Prasības

  • A college degree is preferred, although a high school diploma is acceptable
  • Relevant customer service experience in manufacturing, ingredients, or a comparable B2B setting is required
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or an equivalent platform
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Capacity to manage multiple assignments, multistep processes, and competing priorities
  • Ability to stay organized and work independently with limited supervision
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to assist customers across multiple time zones
  • Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures
