Remote Solution Design Specialist (Portugal)

  • Define customer scope, requirements, success measures, and expected outcomes for tailored development requests.
  • Guide customer projects through delivery and transition completed implementations to the Managed Service team.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to assess requirements, impacts, feasibility, priorities, capacity, and schedules.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria with non-technical colleagues.
  • Lead workshops with internal teams and customers to analyse and record requirements.
  • Document requirements and create diagrams using suitable tools and Lifecycle processes.
  • Record work items in JIRA for tracking and planning.
  • Coordinate the creation and ongoing management of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Gather project needs, assess impacts, and turn findings into clear, complete SOWs.
  • Keep existing SOWs accurate and compliant.
  • Coordinate with Development and Quality Assurance teams to estimate project effort.
  • Assist project managers with capacity planning and customer updates.
  • Translate work into technical tasks with defined requirements and estimates.
  • Pass requirements to Development and support the development cycle through planning, scope confirmation, and priority guidance.
  • Join team stand-ups to help keep delivery on schedule.
  • Prepare solution-design presentations for customers and internal teams.
  • Transition development items to Managed Service and customer operations teams, providing training and documentation.
  • Keep product-development knowledge current and build partner relationships to improve integrations.
  • Strengthen analysis practices and streamline processes.
  • Encourage SCRUM practices and agile ways of working.
  • Contribute to partner roadmaps that advance client value.
  • Serve as a key contact during post-implementation warranty periods and identify hyper-care needs.

  • 2–3 years of experience in customer-facing, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using agile methodologies.
  • Strong partner and stakeholder management skills.
  • A track record of managing customer expectations.
  • Experience working with senior business, partner, and customer stakeholders.
  • Skill in preparing solution documentation for development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Strong organisation and adaptability in fast-changing environments and deployments.
