Investigate auto claims for National General by assessing coverage, liability, and damage while managing statements, negotiations, documentation, and timely resolutions.

- Review minor and moderately complex auto accidents and produce clear claim summaries
- Obtain recorded statements from claimants, policyholders, and witnesses
- Assess policy coverage, liability, and vehicle or property damage
- Negotiate and settle claims in line with approved practices and guidelines
- Follow regulatory and company requirements throughout each claim
- Work with internal teams to support prompt, customer-focused claim handling
- Keep claim files accurate with detailed notes, summaries, and decision explanations
- Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and other parties involved in claims
- Close claims accurately and within expected timeframes

- Handle basic and, at times, moderately complex auto claims
- Assess coverage, establish liability, and negotiate settlements
- Have authorization to work in the United States
- Understand that the employer does not sponsor work visas
- Terminate all existing insurance appointments before onboarding if currently holding an active insurance license, and maintain no outside appointments during employment
- Surrender a resident producer license when directed by the licensing team
