Talent Acquisition Specialist - Hybrid

Lead full-cycle recruitment and workforce development for NFI Group, a manufacturer and provider of buses, motorcoaches, parts, technology, and transportation services. Build talent pipelines, advise hiring leaders, and strengthen recruitment programs across the organization.

Description

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across NFI Group companies and business functions
  • Collaborate with local HR teams and hiring leaders to shape recruitment strategies
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines and contribute to workforce planning
  • Resolve complex and difficult-to-fill hiring requirements
  • Deliver enterprise-wide talent acquisition and workforce development strategies, programs, and processes
  • Improve talent attraction, candidate experience, employer branding, workforce development, and recruitment outcomes
  • Source and evaluate candidates, conduct interviews, manage offers, and support onboarding
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and hiring data to identify trends and improve effectiveness
  • Advise hiring leaders on recruitment and workforce planning matters
  • Represent NFI Group at career fairs, industry events, educational institutions, and community activities
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and workforce development initiatives
  • Work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with up to 5% travel

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline, combined with relevant experience
  • Two to three years of experience delivering full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and levels
  • Practical experience handling sourcing, candidate assessment, interviews, offer management, and onboarding
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with hiring managers and HR teams
  • Experience creating talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, community partnerships, workforce development programs, and employer branding
  • Background recruiting for specialized, high-volume, hard-to-fill, or business-critical roles
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications, organizational fit, and potential
  • Experience using recruitment metrics and data to guide decisions
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, compliance requirements, candidate experience, and talent acquisition technologies
  • Experience representing an organization at career fairs, industry events, educational institutions, and community engagement activities
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, reporting, computer, organizational, administrative, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment best practices, and inclusive hiring principles
  • Eligibility to travel within Canada or the United States
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
