Sales Development Representative – United States Remote

Generate qualified sales pipeline for mPulse’s healthcare technology solutions. Prospect healthcare organizations, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for Account Executives.

Description

  • Build qualified pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects among health plans, providers, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn, and additional channels.
  • Follow up with inbound leads generated through webinars, events, content downloads, and marketing campaigns.
  • Research target organizations and contacts to evaluate business models, member populations, and alignment with mPulse solutions.
  • Tailor outreach to campaign objectives and prospect responsibilities.
  • Lead initial discovery conversations, uncover needs and challenges, and record findings in Salesforce.
  • Qualify opportunities and arrange introductory meetings, demonstrations, and discovery calls for Account Executives.
  • Keep activity, contact, and opportunity records accurate across the CRM and related sales tools.
  • Work with Marketing to improve campaign follow-up, messaging, and audience targeting.
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership to prioritize territories, account lists, and buyer personas.
  • Take part in coaching, training, and role-playing activities.
  • Achieve or exceed targets for activity volume, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities generated.
  • Represent mPulse with professionalism and a consultative approach when engaging prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Report to the Senior Business Development Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with the ability to explain value propositions and adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Be comfortable making outbound calls and conducting early-stage sales conversations with senior leaders at health plans and provider organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with, or a clear aptitude for learning, sales platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong Engage, LinkedIn, and related tools.
  • Manage time effectively, balance competing priorities, and perform in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment.
  • Show resilience, curiosity, problem-solving ability, a growth mindset, and openness to feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support shared pipeline and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and reliable follow-through when recording activities and next steps.
  • Have at least one year of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or another customer-facing role; internships or equivalent experience may qualify.
  • Bring experience in B2B sales or marketing, with exposure to SaaS or technology solutions preferred.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Prior SDR or BDR experience in a SaaS or healthcare organization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare markets and concepts such as member engagement, quality measures, or CAHPS/HEDIS is preferred.
  • A history of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets is preferred.
  • Be able to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Be able to lift 10 pounds.
