Remote Freelance Content Editor – South Korea
Freelance Content Editor role with TransPerfect, focused on validating Shopify and CMS-based e-commerce content. Review formatting, translations, media, SEO fields, and overall web quality.
Description
- Check that lists, tables, and other formatting elements are styled correctly
- Proofread content and edit titles, descriptions, images, variants, prices, tags, and SEO fields
- Verify that published text matches the approved source material
- Assess translated copy within calls to action, headers, and navigation components
- Confirm that images, videos, and other media render correctly and remain visible
- Identify and report content inconsistencies and errors
- Collaborate with the digital team to support content quality and performance
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Shopify and CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM, or Drupal
- Experience editing mobile app content is desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on content accuracy
- High level of reliability and discretion when accessing client CMS platforms and digital assets
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly and professionally with the team
- Previous experience in web quality assurance or content validation is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS sufficient for layout, typo, spacing, and style adjustments
- Basic JavaScript knowledge is advantageous
- Full professional proficiency in Korean and English is essential
