Part-Time Technical Support Analyst (Remote, Canada)

Part-time remote role supporting ClaimsPro users with domain migrations and maintaining Windows hardware, software, networks, and Exchange systems.

Description

  • Support end users through migration to a new domain
  • Maintain company software and hardware
  • Manage support requests and remain accountable for incidents through resolution
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations and servers in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Install, configure, and maintain peripherals and network equipment
  • Record system configurations and IT operating standards and procedures
  • Apply and monitor security policies
  • Complete data backup and recovery activities
  • Carry out hardware and software upgrades
  • Configure and troubleshoot corporate email through Exchange
  • Contribute to infrastructure and software projects of small to medium complexity
  • Report project progress to IT stakeholders
  • Assess project risks, escalate issues to management, and support mitigation efforts
  • Handle additional duties as assigned
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends when required

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in information technology is preferred
  • 0–2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11
  • Experience administering Active Directory users and groups
  • Computer hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Email administration experience with Exchange or Microsoft 365 is an asset
  • Experience with VPN software is an asset
  • Fluency in French and English is required
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Exposure to imaging solutions
