Inside Sales Support Representative – Florida Remote
Support managed account growth for The Home Depot through quoting, sales orders, project coordination, and customer issue resolution. This full-time remote Florida role partners closely with Outside Sales.
Description
- Help grow the Outside Sales portfolio through customer service, accurate quoting, sourcing, and end-to-end project ownership
- Develop productive relationships with internal and external partners to support managed account growth
- Follow up after orders, reconcile errors or issues, and confirm that customer needs are addressed
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams on pricing, availability, quotes, and issue resolution
- Manage projects from initiation through completion while keeping managed account customers at the center
- Support customers with issue resolution, post-sale follow-up, invoice transmittal, and quote requests
- Report to a Supervisor
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Ability to negotiate, manage complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances involving internal and external customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous customer service or retail sales experience, preferably related to home improvement trades
- Knowledge of local building codes relevant to home improvement
- Consultative, growth-oriented approach with the ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs
- In-depth knowledge of retail systems, including Showroom Point of Sale-Orange Pay, Order Up, My Custom Designs, Volume Pricing Program, Quote Center, Pro Xtra, Credit Services Center, and the Appliance Ordering System
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of work experience
