HOA/COA Operations Director

Lead employee lifecycle operations, benefits administration, and retention for an HOA/COA services organization. Support growth through website updates, proposals, outreach initiatives, and community events.

Description

  • Lead the employee lifecycle and uphold the company brand
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, background checks, I-9 processing, system access, benefits termination, and COBRA
  • Administer PTO processes, produce weekly reports, and provide manager coverage for planned and unexpected leave
  • Recruit and retain employees by publishing openings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining job descriptions
  • Prepare and deliver performance improvement plans and written or verbal warnings as a neutral company liaison
  • Create standard operating procedures and retention practices that strengthen employee performance and tenure
  • Maintain the company website, including employee biographies, photographs, managed-property listings, and staff departure updates
  • Assist business development through lead generation, proposals, and pitches
  • Coordinate community outreach, volunteer initiatives, and employee morale events
  • Partner with managers across teams to support coverage, morale, and retention

Requirements

  • At least five years of HR generalist experience, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations
  • Experience managing PTO, COBRA, 401(k), and health benefits
  • Working knowledge of I-9 and new-hire compliance requirements
  • Experience preparing performance improvement plans, warnings, and job descriptions
  • Experience using Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
  • Marketing experience involving website content, proposals, or event planning
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Community association or multifamily property management experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with Vantaca and HappyCo is preferred
  • Experience managing a company website CMS is preferred
