Description

  • Accurately enter and review sales orders, confirming customer, product, pricing, and order details before processing.
  • Cross-check customer pricing against price lists, product costs, freight charges, warehouse expenses, and related data.
  • Spot pricing, cost, margin, and order discrepancies before they affect operations or customers.
  • Use percentages, cost, margin, multiplication, and division calculations to confirm order accuracy.
  • Investigate figures or information that appear inconsistent instead of processing them without review.
  • Escalate discrepancies and communicate proactively with relevant colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Process substantial volumes of order and operational data with speed and precision.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries by email as familiarity with the business develops.
  • Progressively manage occasional inbound and outbound customer calls after gaining confidence with the company’s products and processes.
  • Build a strong understanding of logistics, order management, pricing, and operational workflows to identify irregularities.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, customer-facing work, or operational support.
  • Advanced English proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading.
  • Strong numerical ability, including confidence with percentages, costs, margins, multiplication, division, and basic business calculations.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing orders, prices, costs, spreadsheets, and other business data.
  • Ability to identify unusual or incorrect figures and investigate them before proceeding.
  • Professional written communication skills and the confidence to ask questions or raise concerns when information is unclear.
  • Experience in accounting, banking, finance, order processing, or another data- and numbers-focused environment is desirable.
  • Experience entering or reviewing large volumes of sales orders or transactional data is desirable.
  • Prior exposure to logistics, warehousing, freight, or supply chain operations is desirable.
  • Experience using spreadsheets, order management tools, ERP systems, or comparable business software is desirable.
  • Experience communicating with customers or teams based in the United States is desirable.
