Client Services Specialist - Miami Hybrid

Support corporate, real estate, business banking, and private clients at City National Bank of Florida through loan servicing, account onboarding, treasury management, and regulatory compliance.

Description

  • Support corporate, real estate, business banking, and private client accounts through deposit, lending, and treasury management services.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to client requests and inquiries.
  • Process loan servicing needs, including advances, paydowns, statements, billing issues, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance.
  • Open and process new client accounts, products, and services.
  • Act as the primary servicing contact while maintaining detailed relationship knowledge.
  • Collect, review, and upload deposit account documents and disclosures.
  • Coordinate electronic banking and treasury management onboarding.
  • Complete customer profiles, CIP, BizChex-ChexSystems, ownership records, account profiles, list checks, OFAC checks, and Google searches.
  • Maintain analysis composites and integrate account information for reporting.
  • Process domestic and international wires, internal transfers, stop payments, cashier’s checks, and debit cards.
  • Manage overdraft decisions and approvals within authorized limits.
  • Collect missing documentation and fulfill BSA/RFI requests, including EDD/KYC, PO Alert, OFAC, and high-risk reviews.
  • Complete KYC/EDD updates and Regulatory Excellence Consultant findings requests.
  • Track onboarding and maintenance activities, including funding, treasury management implementation, online banking setup, and KYC status.
  • Escalate unresolved matters to the Relationship Manager or Supervisor.
  • Handle Reg E disputes, fraud resolution, check disputes, check-processing errors, and Aithent activities.
  • Process deposit account maintenance, closures, address changes, signer changes, and deposit research.
  • Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations and the Non-Post database.
  • Prepare client correspondence, reports, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and organizational charts.
  • Organize and maintain deposit and loan client files.
  • Maintain product knowledge, evaluate client needs, cross-sell products, and refer opportunities.
  • Coordinate with bank departments and Relationship Managers on client activities, issues, RFIs, compromised accounts, and opportunities.
  • Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews as needed.
  • Coordinate loan-closing checklist items and support Relationship Manager dashboard and pipeline management.
  • Collect, review, and upload required loan covenants and ticklers.

Requirements

  • At least two years of client service experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Ability to respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver comprehensive support in a financial services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, particularly loan servicing, deposit, and treasury management offerings.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency with loan, deposit, and banking software systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including report preparation and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced interpersonal, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills.
  • Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
