Business Development Executive, AUSREiiF Partnerships – Hybrid

Drive sponsorship, exhibition and partnership revenue for Infopro Digital’s AUSREiiF property and infrastructure event. Manage Australian prospects from outreach and proposals through negotiation, conversion and ongoing client relationships.

Description

  • Handle inbound enquiries from prospective sponsors, exhibitors and partners.
  • Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assess prospect objectives and match them with relevant AUSREiiF opportunities.
  • Create proposals, packages and follow-up communications.
  • Manage opportunities in HubSpot CRM from initial enquiry through conversion.
  • Source and contact prospective sponsors, exhibitors and commercial partners.
  • Use email, telephone and LinkedIn for business development outreach.
  • Schedule meetings and sales discussions with qualified prospects.
  • Build and manage an active prospect pipeline.
  • Lead sponsorship and exhibition sales from prospecting to contract completion.
  • Create tailored commercial propositions and proposals.
  • Present partnership opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements.
  • Develop bespoke opportunities across partnerships, thought leadership, networking, branding, exhibitions and content activation.
  • Work with the wider team to deliver commercial commitments to a high standard.
  • Strengthen client relationships and increase their value and longevity.
  • Monitor activity, pipeline value, conversion rates and target revenue.
  • Provide regular reports to the Head of Australia.
  • Spot pipeline gaps and help create strategies to address them.
  • Take ownership of agreed commercial revenue targets.
  • Build expertise in Australian property, infrastructure and investment markets.
  • Find new organisations, sectors and commercial opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events and networking activities.
  • Represent AUSREiiF professionally across the market.
  • Share market intelligence and feedback with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Permanent employment basis.
  • Commercially minded business development professional.
  • Ability to identify prospects, respond to enquiries, develop opportunities, convert leads and build client relationships.
  • Experience or capability in inbound and outbound business development, sponsorship and exhibition sales, lead generation, account management and strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders across government, property, infrastructure, investment and professional services.
  • Ability to manage sales opportunities in a CRM, specifically HubSpot.
  • Ability to conduct outreach by email, telephone and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to produce tailored commercial propositions, proposals and follow-up communications.
  • Ability to present partnership opportunities, negotiate commercial terms and close agreements.
  • Ability to monitor pipeline value, conversion rates and revenue against targets.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, Australian property, infrastructure and investment sectors.
  • Ability to attend relevant industry events and networking activities.
  • Ability to represent AUSREiiF professionally in the market.
