Aprašymas

  • Serve as a liaison among patients and families, health plans, medical staff officers, senior leaders, and clinical management.
  • Visit patients and families in person to address concerns where care is provided.
  • Triage, investigate, resolve, document, follow up on, and close patient complaints and grievances.
  • Select appropriate interventions and escalation paths for complaints.
  • Work with Medical Affairs, Risk Management, Legal Affairs, the Privacy Office, and Patient Financial Services.
  • Accurately enter complaint details into databases and keep records organized.
  • Route complaints and compliments through established procedures.
  • Track response timelines and record follow-up communications.
  • Teach staff about grievance procedures, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and customer service.
  • Create and present educational outreach materials and data reports.
  • Train and mentor incoming Patient Advocacy team members.
  • Handle clerical work and other assigned responsibilities.

Reikalavimai

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • An associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • At least two years of customer service experience handling complaints is required.
  • One year of healthcare experience and general knowledge of hospital systems and operations are preferred.
