Social Media Specialist – Camping World (Remote, Illinois)
Represent Camping World’s RV community across Facebook, Reddit, and other social platforms. Manage customer conversations, resolve issues, and build strong relationships with the brand.
Description
- Make every customer feel heard, supported, and valued in each interaction.
- Respond promptly to comments, questions, and direct messages across Camping World’s social channels with accurate, on-brand answers.
- Initiate conversations with followers, community members, and relevant audiences.
- Join audience conversations authentically on platforms such as Facebook and Reddit.
- Use Camping World’s brand voice while adjusting to each platform’s tone and culture.
- Address concerns with empathy and help turn difficult exchanges into positive experiences.
- Escalate issues when appropriate and follow them through to resolution.
- Track brand mentions and social conversations to spot engagement opportunities and issues that need attention.
- Work independently and manage assignments from start to finish on the Community Experience team.
Requirements
- Write clear, engaging copy with personality and adapt tone across platforms.
- Know Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Threads, Reddit, and LinkedIn, including the culture and expectations of each.
- Apply critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Engage both proactively and reactively, moving between starting and resolving conversations.
- Stay organized and independently manage multiple conversations across several platforms.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
