Senior Release Train Engineer, Change Management (Remote)

Lead change management analysis for a Veterans Health Administration transformation, assessing impacts, readiness, risks, and adoption. Create implementation plans and align clinical, operational, training, communications, and informatics stakeholders.

Description

  • Assess how organizational changes affect personnel and determine required preparation
  • Map impacted sites, roles, workflows, handoffs, responsibilities, and systems
  • Factor concurrent site changes into change planning
  • Create plans for activities before, during, and after implementation
  • Define readiness initiatives, training requirements, communications, and adoption metrics
  • Identify change risks affecting the program or personnel and escalate them to leadership
  • Perform stakeholder and organizational impact analyses
  • Produce readiness assessments, communication plans, roadmaps, training plans, and resistance management plans
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to build support and respond to resistance
  • Monitor readiness and adoption, reporting progress to program leadership and the customer
  • Align change activities with delivery schedules alongside training, communications, and informatics teams
  • Provide change management content for program reports and deliverables

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Ten years of relevant professional experience
  • Track record leading organizational change initiatives in large or complex organizations
  • Experience with stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, and implementation planning
  • Experience identifying and communicating organizational change risks
  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with senior leaders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA Tier 1 / Public Trust background investigation
  • Prosci or comparable change management certification preferred
  • Experience supporting VA, VHA, DoD, or other federal health programs preferred
  • Experience managing change in a unionized environment preferred
  • Experience contributing to an electronic health record rollout or enhancement initiative preferred
  • Experience working in a SAFe or other Agile delivery environment preferred
  • Experience with government contract deliverables and reporting preferred
