Senior AI Enablement Leader - Johnson Controls Milwaukee Onsite

Lead enterprise AI enablement at Johnson Controls by standardizing tools, licensing, training, and adoption. Coordinate AI foundations, analytics, learning programs, and advisory support across business functions.

Description

  • Set the strategy, curriculum, and operating rhythm for enterprise AI fluency and workflow adoption
  • Plan and deliver training, establish role-based capability expectations, close skill gaps, and encourage sustained AI usage
  • Track AI usage and capability development through quantitative measurement and reporting
  • Establish and manage enterprise standards for AI tools, licensing, and user personas
  • Connect roles with the appropriate tools, licenses, and learning pathways
  • Coordinate shared agentic AI and analytics foundation initiatives, including the knowledge base, agent repository, design standards, semantic layer, Power BI embedding approach, and agent backlog
  • Convert technical priorities into practical enablement plans and operating standards
  • Maintain a consolidated portfolio view, identify risks and dependencies, align standards, and ensure owners meet agreed timelines
  • Support AI Week planning, content coordination, seat assignment, speaker and sponsor logistics, and post-event analysis
  • Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development on enterprise AI fluency initiatives, including Agent in a Day, AI Coffee Chats, and the Start Here training hub
  • Counsel functional and technology leaders on AI workflow opportunities, tools, personas, and training needs
  • Direct substantial AI development requests to the appropriate delivery teams
  • Assess enterprise AI adoption, persona coverage, license efficiency, and enablement reach

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, data, organizational development, or a related discipline
  • At least seven years of professional experience
  • Two or more years leading enablement, training, standards, or program functions within a technology or data organization
  • Proven ability to drive organizational adoption of new technology and measure results quantitatively
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization where delivery relies on teams outside the role’s direct control
  • Experience managing people or demonstrated readiness to take on people leadership
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent platforms
  • Knowledge of agentic architecture, including design patterns, reuse and repository models, knowledge grounding, and semantic layers
  • Comfort working with usage and adoption analytics, platform telemetry, and executive reporting
  • Strong program management skills across multiple owners, including dependency and risk management
  • Ability to build alignment and influence without formal authority
  • Willingness to uphold standards and decline exceptions that weaken them
  • Consultative approach when working with senior stakeholders
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences
