Onsite IT Support Specialist – Raleigh, NC

Provide advanced hardware, software, and mobile-device support for Moffatt & Nichol employees. Manage help desk operations, IT documentation, systems imaging, inventory, and employee account processes.

Description

  • Deliver advanced computer support to Moffatt & Nichol employees across all locations
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and mobile-device problems
  • Assist end users through email, ticketing, and telephone support
  • Handle complex requests and provide advanced assistance to other IT Support Specialists
  • Respond to help desk tickets and manage the help desk phone line
  • Train and mentor fellow IT Support Specialists
  • Maintain the WDS imaging server
  • Manage IT documentation and inventory in OneNote, Excel, Lansweeper, and Active Directory
  • Complete approved assignments for the Network Operations Manager
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation and termination processing
  • Work with clients and travel occasionally

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or related IT certifications are preferred but not required
  • At least five years of related professional technical-support experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of advanced IT concepts and functions
  • Ability to work independently while following established job procedures
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong customer-service skills
  • Successful completion of a post-offer employment background check compliant with NIST 800-171
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to provide required hiring documentation
