Manager, Partner Development – Health Plans and Employers

Lead healthcare partnership growth for Oura Ring adoption across U.S. employers and health plans. Build employer relationships, expand partner revenue, and strengthen the path from sale to activation.

Description

  • Acquire new employer accounts through consultative, full-cycle sales.
  • Develop, prioritize, and maintain employer prospect pipelines within health plan programs.
  • Run meetings and sales conversations with partners and employer decision-makers.
  • Set commercial terms, negotiate agreements, and close partnerships.
  • Create re-engagement strategies for stalled and previously lost opportunities.
  • Refine sales and account-management workflows, including sales-to-activation-to-growth handoffs and ordering and fulfillment processes.
  • Act as a primary contact for established healthcare partners.
  • Track account engagement and partnership performance.
  • Pursue upsell, expansion, renewal, reactivation, and customer-reference opportunities.
  • Convert partner feedback into practical recommendations.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, operations, legal, and other internal teams.
  • Represent Oura’s healthcare partnership offerings with professionalism.
  • Within the first year, deliver signed employer accounts, measurable engagement and results, expansion or reactivation revenue, and tangible process improvements.

Requirements

  • At least five years combining new-business sales with post-sale account growth or client success, preferably in digital health, employee benefits, health plans, HR technology, or another enterprise B2B setting with lengthy, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset, with the initiative to identify gaps, work around obstacles, and improve inefficient processes within an established operating model.
  • Confidence independently leading external meetings, including conversations with senior stakeholders, and the executive presence to establish trust quickly.
  • Demonstrated success improving or scaling an existing sales or account-management process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to tailor partnership stories into buyer-specific pitches.
  • Strong self-direction and follow-through, with the discipline to drive next steps and maintain deal momentum independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, legal, and operations teams.
  • Adaptability in a rapidly growing company where priorities may change quickly.
  • Must live in the United States, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
