Internal Audit and Certification Manager - Madrid Hybrid

Lead Hitachi Energy’s internal audit and ISO certification activities while helping shape global customer experience training, learning programs, and compliance improvements.

Description

  • Lead the GPQSS Internal Audit Team and coordinate its activities.
  • Promote safety and quality excellence throughout the organization’s value chain.
  • Guide the global GPQSS organization on business process management tools and methods.
  • Plan, conduct, and report on the GPQSS internal audit program.
  • Provide support and oversight for BU GI initiatives.
  • Assess risks and controls, propose improvements, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the GPQSS Integrated Management System.
  • Manage requirements related to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant local laws.
  • Track industry practices and changes to applicable regulations.
  • Manage integrated external certification activities with independent certification bodies.
  • Represent the company in corporate and external audits.
  • Help develop and deliver a global Customer Experience training strategy.
  • Use data to identify capability gaps and prioritize learning investments.
  • Create and improve training programs informed by industry developments and emerging technologies.
  • Establish and monitor training KPIs tied to effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Deploy and refine scalable training processes and tools across global operations.
  • Develop stakeholder partnerships and work with subject matter experts to create training content.
  • Assist with communications that build awareness of and participation in training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, communications, education, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in customer experience, marketing and sales, training, or learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proven effectiveness working with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Practical experience creating engaging training content and learning resources.
  • Ability to evaluate learning needs, collect and interpret feedback, and contribute to ongoing program improvements.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, especially Cornerstone, and other digital learning tools.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach suited to working in a global organization.
