Senior Document Controller - India Remote
Senior Document Controller responsible for engineering and project documentation for a client in India. The role coordinates document control, vendors, stakeholders, revisions, deliverables, reporting, and project archiving.
विवरण
- Oversee project documentation, including preparing transmittals, receiving vendor and customer files, and distributing materials internally on schedule
- Monitor documentation through document management systems and report on status, outstanding items, and overdue submissions
- Create and maintain documentation templates, style sheets, and formatting standards
- Support consistent document numbering and naming conventions
- Control document revisions and deliverable status using systems such as Documentum
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to accelerate documentation in line with project schedules
- Maintain the organization, storage, and control of vendor documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for project documentation questions and support requests
- Compile Manufacturing Record Books and verify that project deliverables are complete
- Coordinate shipment of hard-copy documents when required
- Provide stakeholders with regular documentation status updates and support timely delivery
- Lead project document closeout, including archiving and post-completion folder cleanup

- At least three years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of project management principles
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Documentum
- Proficiency in document management systems
- Experience managing project escalations and supporting audits
- Background overseeing structured documentation processes
