- Translate captions, subtitles, documents, web pages, and software.
- Post-edit machine-translated content (MTPE).
- Create transcreated translations.
- Fit translations to word limits while preserving their meaning.
- Maintain translation databases in Translation Management Software.
- Check translation quality throughout the process.
- Work with varied media and translation software.
- Resolve translation, localization, and cultural issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide translation services.
- Apply feedback and revisions where possible.
- Collaborate with fellow translators and report to the project manager.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or linguistics.
- At least four years of experience in translation.
- Proficiency with Translation Management System tools and software.
- Knowledge of translation processes, terminology, and localization methods.
- Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards.
- Ability to translate written material into another language.
- Strong translation, writing, and communication skills.
- Fluency in at least two target languages.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Additional linguistics certification is a plus.
